A Poem of Love

Loving you is just like a competition
That I need to buy and pay attention
In the end, there’s always a winner,
But saying to myself, I won’t be the loser.

I have to finish this race,
And figure out this chaotic maze.
I will try all the love challenges,
As long as I have my own courage

Everybody is running after you,
And I won’t wait until the blue.
I will surpass all the obstacles,
And make sure you’re with me on the pinnacle.

Together we’ll watch the sunset,
And our love written on the tablet
It will flow freely on the river,
And soon, this game will be over.

I’m going to be the WINNER.

Ecological Crisis: Can something be done?

Faced with the widespread destruction of the environment, people everywhere are now coming to understand that we cannot continue to use the goods of the earth as we have in the past. The public in general as well as the political leaders are studying its causes. Moreover, a new ecological awareness is beginning to emerge and encouraged to develop into concrete programs and initiatives.
Certain elements of today’s ecological crisis reveal its character. First among these is the indiscriminate application of advances in science and technology. We can’t deny many recent discoveries that benefit the humanity. Unfortunately these discoveries have produced lone-term effects to our environment. The depletion of our ozone layer and greenhouse effect are one of the consequences of industrial growth and burning of fossil fuels that are known harmful to our environment and atmosphere. But the question is always, can something still be done?
Ecological crisis is a certainty because it is already happening and we’re still continuing doing such crisis without knowing what would be the results and consequences. As a student and as a citizen, lessening the burden to our mother must start in our very own hands. Even though in a very small way, the importance is that we’re helping and contributing to our world to become better.

A Comedy: Romeo and Juliet

We all know that Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story. How about giving it twists? Or turn it into a comedy? Hmm. Let’s see. To a person who’s not a comedian, it’s so hard to neither compose nor write a story that could make someone to laugh.

Romeo: Now Tybalt, you can call me “villain” the way you did before. He’s waiting for you to accompany him on way up to heaven.

Tybalt: Fool boy! You’re the one whose gonna be with him.  (Evil grin)

                They fight.

Romeo: Tybalt! You’re gonna die!
Tybalt: No, Romeo. You’re the one who’s going to die.  (Running out of breath)

------Because Tybalt is running out of breath. He just now looks a man out of this world, swinging his sword around and around.  Some of their audiences are now laughing at him. So Tybalt thought of stabbing Romeo on his chest, but the thing that happened was he wasn’t able to stabbed Romeo’s chest. Tybalt’s sword just got stacked on Romeo’s armpit.

Romeo: I’m not going to forgive you Tybalt-------you’re gonna pay this.

Tybalt got stabbed on his side and died.

My Own Ending of Romeo and Juliet

Have you ever heard the story of Romeo and Juliet? Well, if not you must read it because it’s one of William Shakespeare’s magnificent piece.  At first just hearing the title Romeo and Juliet, you can imagine already what the story is about. Well, after reading the story, I’m somewhat a little bit disappointed with the ending because I’m used to stories having a happy ending. “Romeo and Juliet’ is a tragic love story between Romeo and Juliet in which their families have a long time enmity that became a hindrance between their longing loves to each other. If I was given the chance to make an ending of Romeo and Juliet, it’s going to be like this:
The letter that Friar John is going to give to Romeo was received. After Romeo read the letter, he immediately went to the tomb alone seeing nobody but before Romeo have went to the tomb, Paris and his servant already got home.  Romeo was happy as a millionaire when he’s opening the tomb. When he opened the tomb he immediately hugged Juliet and wakes her up. They fixed the tomb into what it is, so Juliet’s family or anyone won’t suspect anything in her tomb. After fixing the tomb, both of them ran away into the woods and found a place where both of them could live with peace in their hearts and minds.  They lived there happily together with their own child.

Perpetual of Encouragement

Our family is the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter. Family is very important to our lives. In our family, I’m the youngest and the only daughter of my parents. I have three brothers namely Aldrin, Ariesh and Alexon. When my oldest brother Aldrin married, our family widened. Te Ryzza and my three cute little nieces were added to our family. Whenever there’s a problem, we always help each other in terms of financial and others. There are instances that mother and brother Alexon ask some money to me, so I always lend them with one condition, whenever they ask money there’s always an interest. That’s why I always lend them some money. If I’m going to have an ideal family, I’m already and always contented with the family I have now.  There are my parents and brothers who are always there to help and guide me in all the time. They are my precious friends who are going to open their arms for me, accept me and love me with all their heart.

In times of our hardships, and the challenges that we face our family is always there to support and guide us. They are the one who could help us to surpass what we’re facing. I’m very thankful and lucky enough to have a family like them. Of all our social institutions, the family is perhaps the one with which we are most familiar. As we proceed through our lives, our experiences within the family give rise to some of our strongest and most intense feelings. Within the family context lies a paradox, however: although most of us hope for love and support within the family -- a haven in a heartless world, so to speak -- the family can also be a place of violence and abuse. “The strength of a family, like the strength of an army, is in its loyalty to each other.”

The Best Daddy

"There are no adequate substitutes for father, mother, and children bound together in a loving commitment to nurture and protect.”
A big shining star that light up the darkest part of my world and guide me to a better future.  A teacher that‘s always there to preach and lecture. A good friend who’s always there to take good care of me, that’s my father. He’s a loving and thoughtful, yet bossy father. He would always interrogate me when it comes to my food, that’s why we would sometimes quarrel.

Our quarrels sometimes seem fun for me. I always play with my father and tickle him. Whenever he ask me to do something I would just smile and laugh at him, then he wouldn't bother me anymore. Mother and I always took fun of him, that’s why we’re always noisy at our house.  Last week was the celebration of father’s day. On that day, I greeted him and kiss him. He also gave me back a thank you kiss. Whenever I kiss him on the cheeks, I could always ask him something. Something that I wanted to have, it’s like an exchange gift to both of us. Whether it’s not father’s day it always happen. There are instances that my father got home drunk, and talk to me in English. I always laugh at him because what he’s saying was wrong grammar.  Every day is always fun and happy.

Whether it’s not father’s day, everyday always seem fun and happy to me. Whenever I thanked him, I show it through my sweet kisses. Every day is a beautiful day for the whole family. Until we’re alive, we should always treat everyday a precious thing. Every second, and every minute of a single day of our life is very important. We should always treasure it allot. It’s not that our parents would be always on our side.

Being a Junior Student

"Moving on is simple. It's what we leave behind that's hard." It’s been two years that my high school life has started, and those memories made were difficult to be left behind. But now I’m a third year student there’s experiences shared about being a junior despite hearing those experiences being back to school is very exciting. I’m able to meet my old and new classmates also our new set of teachers. I’m sure this school year is going to be fun and exciting.

They said high school life was the best part of our lives. Now that I’m in high school, I’m going to experience and see it with my two eyes. Being a high school student is somewhat very fun and sometimes very thrilling.  Very thrilling in a way that I’ve got to meet the third year teachers, well I had the same sensation when I was a freshman and sophomore student. Just hearing some stories and experiences from the previous juniors thrilled me out. But there’s nothing to worry because sooner or later we’ll get along with our teachers.

No matter what I face in being a third year student, I know that I could get through it. My parents, friends, and teachers are there to support me and anyone who’s in need. New challenges and adventures are ahead of me, so I must get ready to pass all of these. These adventures and challenges would teach me something that I can use and benefit me in the future.

I was afraid of dying without anyone remembering that I ever lived. - Karman (Blood+)
